Culturally-attuned counselling for local, international & multicultural individuals

About Me
My calling to become a counsellor came from my own experience with childhood trauma and the healing journey that followed. I know firsthand how transformative therapy can be, and how vulnerable it feels to be on the other side of the couch. This shapes how I show up for my clients: with curiosity, empathy, understanding, respect, and genuine care.
As a South Asian woman, raised between the East and West and educated in international schools, I’ve navigated multiple identities and felt underrepresented and misunderstood in the mental health system. This fuels my passion for culturally attuned counselling, where your identity, background, beliefs, and unique circumstances, are honored and understood, so you feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you never have to justify or minimize who you are.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling (Honours) from Monash University (Australia), a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from George Washington University (USA), and I'm a Provisional Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). I combine personal insight with professional expertise, continually engaging in training and supervision to deepen my skills.
My approach is collaborative. You’re the expert in your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you understand your challenges, rewrite limiting narratives, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, I spent a decade in public relations and marketing across corporate, boutique, and government sectors. I gained valuable insights into communication styles, human behavior, and the pressures associated with demanding jobs. This gives me a real understanding of the challenges many of my clients face, particularly when it comes to finding and maintaining emotional and relational balance.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy cooking, exploring restaurants, Pilates, traveling, and relaxing with family, friends, and my adorable cat, Ponzu. These joys are how I unwind and practice self-care.
